Onderstaande comment slaat op Lisa Hunter-Galvan en dat was een atlete die van 2h40 marathons ineens 2h30 marathons liep en zo 2x het olympisch team van Nieuw Zeeland haalde ...
Hunter-Galvan is an educated women who knows exactly what she was doing. She got caught finally... I don't believe that she doped only 3 times in her career. She cheated her community who has supported her, other athletes who could have won races and money that she took away (stealing)for her own personal greed and fame. She should be ashamed of herself as a role model female athlete/sports foundation women of the year.
What is the difference between a drug addict on the street who goes to jail for using (who hurts himself) and a athlete drug users who lies, steals money from the community, a place on an olympic team for someone who deserves it.. from hard work.
We have to set an example by not supporting performance enhanced athletes and have harsher punishments. A 2 year ban (big deal).
It should be a life time ban with all money returned. An example to our younger generation that this will not be tolerated. It seems worthless to try and compete when you have to go up against athletes who are cheaters/ who later state "I was in a bad state of mind". I believe the only regret Mrs. Hunter-Galvan has is that she got caught. MM.
